Documenting babes in lingerie. Let’s just say, I never saw that table at the “career fair” in high school. Who would have thought I’d be spending my days adjusting bra straps and coaching girls on how to arch their back just right. But let me tell you, this is what I was made to do. You know how we often shy away from admitting what we’re really good at? Well, I’m not doing that - I’m telling you, I’m really good at this. I know women and angles and light and I know how to make you feel like a fucking queen. It’s my biggest passion and my best talent. I shoot the everyday woman - allowing them to see themselves in a light not often seen. You might look at my library of work and think, no not me. Please hear me, yes you. Let’s talk about vibes. I work real hard to make sure we get a feel and flow to your shoot. You’ll fill out a questionnaire that helps me understand what your goal is, the feeling you want and the overall vibe you are going for with your session. Trust me, I gotchu on the poses and angles and best positions for your body type. And while it’s super important to me to have consistency in my work and cohesiveness in my style, you bring so much individuality into your session and that’s what makes it come alive. I always want to make sure we talk about your vision and your goals - but leave enough room to flow together and collaborate in the moment. Have fun with it, the lingerie you bring is a huge impact on the feel we’re able to achieve in your images. I’ll help match the type of location and room style for what you want with your shoot. How this all got started…
Over 12 years ago, a gal reached out saying she wanted to make a calendar of boudoir images as a gift to her husband. I walked into that shoot without really knowing what it would be like, but I left that shoot and felt on fire. I found my calling. Truly. I had never felt more alive or in the right place. There’s something thats just in me, my strengths and talents, who I’m drawn to….it you. It’s women. I know the feelings you have. I know that when you stand in front of the mirror, how your eyes can often go right to the spot you want to fix. I know the thoughts you have coming into the shoot, “Will I really be able to look like the images on her website?” and its my experience that time after time, my girls look at the photo on the back of my camera and say “holy shit, i cant believe that is me.” I shoot everyday women, not models; and the reason why these babes look like models is because I know the body, I know the angles and good light is my best friend.
I grew up in a really conservative environment and household. A school with a strict dress code, that my body should be covered, my sexuality should be pressed down. Shooting boudoir has actually been a healing and empowering process for me. Not an opportunity to throw it in your face, but realizing that women are beautiful, powerful and perfect in your own body. It’s my goal to show women themselves in a light they dont often see themselves in. Working with women like this, its a gift. It gets me fucking high and is beyond fulfilling to create art for the every day women. Don’t let yourself believe that you don’t deserve it. You do. There’s a reason most of my clients come straight from word of mouth. You might think, sure, this shoot will be cool - but there’s no way to explain it until you’ve done it yourself - it’s a powerful and moving thing. You walk in ready for a good time, and you walk out feeling like a bomb ass bitch. There’s no way around it and I couldn’t love what I do any more.

HELP, I’M SHY // Girl, don’t. Making you feel comfortable, feel good, know what to do is my number one talent. I cant even give this one time because its just not applicable. I talk you up, give you all the poses, you just wait. i got’chu.
DO YOU PROVIDE OUTFITS? // I do not. Everyone has totally different style, body types and vibes for their shoot. Plus I feel weird allowing your vag in something that someone else’s was. Fair enough? I’ll give you lots of help and a long list of my favorite designers and brands - we’ll get your vibe and feel sorted.
WHERE DO YOU SHOOT? // If I’m in Seattle, I mainly shoot at Ace Hotel. There’s no way around it, its the most gorg, best look and most beautiful light there is - even on the darkest seattle day, we’re set. Lotsa white, lotsa mood.
DO I NEED TO HAVE A REASON TO DO THE SHOOT? // Women come to me for so many different reasons. A wedding gift, a birthday surprise, something just for you, a milestone in your life, to feel your strength after a divorce, getting your sexy back after a baby, because you’re single and you’re a boss ass bitch. So many reasons…but you need no reason at all, I firmly believe every woman should experience a shoot like this, a feeling like this.
HOW FAR OUT SHOULD I BOOK MY SHOOT? I generally book out 3-6 months in advance. If you have a special date you need the photos back by, its never too early to get in touch and reserve your date. You want to give yourself about 8 weeks from your shoot date to the date you need your photos back by and 10 weeks if you are planning on getting an album.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO GET MY PHOTOS BACK? // It depends on the time of year and how much work I have booked. In general… I shoot pretty similarly year round and book out pretty far, so I usually delivery your images around the 8 week mark. This may feel long, but 1) I am solidly booked each month, so when I do your shoot, there’s usually 8-10 or so shoots ahead of you. 2) I do all my own editing, while many photographers send out their editing, I cannot and will not do this. The editing process that really finishes my process, its my vision and crucial that I’m the person to edit them. Because of this, it’s not immediate that you get your photos back. I make sure your skin looks amazing, I edit out bruises or blemishes and artistically, editing is where they come to life….this is not a copy and paste type of editing process. I do offer RUSH editing if you need your photos asap (1-2 weeks) and you can add that to your package in check out. If you have a specific date you need your photos by, make sure to communicate with me and I will let you know if you should add RUSH Deliver to your package.
DO YOU TRAVEL? // Yes I do. Mainly for my Boudoir Events - I usually hit up a few cities in a year and often have clients come to me. From time to time, I will get to a city just for a shoot and try to add a few others in as well. If you’re interested in me coming to you, get in touch. I generally have other clients that I can book if I post that I’m coming to that city, so get in touch and I’d love to chat with you about a session in your city!
HOW MANY IMAGES DO I GET FROM MY SHOOT? // I shoot a lot in each session and I don’t put a cap on what I deliver. Call it art, call it my connection to you, I shoot what we get and deliver it. You will get a lot of images and nobody has ever been left wanting for more. I deliver somewhere in the 175 range for my my base packages and 300+ images and up for my larger packages. You’ll get a private online gallery that does not expire, you’ll get all your high resolution images to download without any watermarks. The photos are yours!
WHAT IS THE INVESTMENT? // Boudoir starts at $2200. Base packages include hair, makeup + hotel and then go up to the more custom packages with VIP options, tans, albums, goody boxes and me takin’ care of you. My experience is top to bottom custom, its not all about the shoot. Although…that’s pretty good too. Reserve your session with a 50% deposit and then remaining payment is due 48 hours before your session. You can pay for your shoot on my online booking system which takes credit or debit cards.
I’M ON THE FENCE…. // It usually goes like this…we start the shoot, hair and makeup and maybe a little drink. We get to shooting and you realize, oh shit, this is easier than i thought. Man, she makes it so fun. Then 2 hours go by and I’m screaming how dope you look and we’ve made art together, you aren’t thinking about that angle you dont like, you’re committed and you trust me and you look at the back of the camera and say “holy shit I cant believe that’s me!” and you say that 27 times during the shoot. We come to an end and you hug me and say “I’m so glad i did this, I want to do more.”’ …That’s typically how it goes. These sessions are about way more than lingerie, it’s about you stepping over that line and allowing yourself to see all the beauty, to take that risk and feel your own power. I’ve seen these sessions transform, heal, empower and give a general fuck yea embodiment to so many women. Don’t give in to the thought that its just about lingerie, I can promise you. It’s about art, its about power. It’s about you.
